credit report problem?

Jason asked:

hello everyone,

i had a surgical procedure done in jan 07 and the hospital quoted me $10,000 total for it. i was supposed to pay $4000 and the rest was covered by insurance.

i paid $4000 and after the procedure they slapped me with separate charges of: $1200, $63, $37

i argued with my insurance and the hospital but no luck. they finally handed all the three amounts to a collection agency.

now the amounts show up in my credit report as PAST DUE. i cannot apply for new credit cards or get any kind of loan.

What should I do? What is the best course of action for this? how do i get them off my credit report?

i can pay about 80% of this debt but i really need to get them off my report.

The hospital wont take any payment plans and cannot do anything about the 3 flags on my credit report. so it is useless to talk to them.

I just want to completely remove them from my report? I can pay in full if I have to but please advise.

Thank you.

The account would be settled and ask them to do this but they might however recommend paying the account would be settled and paid in full they dont remove the account would be settled and paid in full anyway if you pay in full anyway if you could.
